Description
Some quick sketch examples of the more exotic lighting from my world.
The Wispbug is a fist-sized bioluminescent insect that people sometimes catch and put in bottles to use as a light. They prefer wetlands and eat leaves.
Alchemical candles are just like regular candles but the flames burn in a variety of colours.
The lightstone is an expensive arcane creation that is often mounted atop a rod or put in a lantern housing.
Witchlight is a chemiluminescent alchemical that is as common as regular candles and about as bright. There are people who make a living selling only witchlight. The potency of a single mix lasts from a few days to a week.
The eye lantern uses a special admixture of witchlight that gets considerably brighter temporarily when another substance is added. It consists of a glass orb connected to a large vessel often carried on the back. Sometimes the glass orb is mounted in a brass fitting with a proper handle. It is called an eye lantern because it looks like a human eye with the optic nerve dangling from it and helps you see in the dark.

Nice work Larb.
I really think you should do a book someday.
A whole campaign realm.
